COMPARATIVE ANALYSIS OF ENERGY CHARACTERISTICS OF DIFFERENT TYPES OF SYNCHRONOUS TRACTION ELECTRIC MOTORS

Using the methods of mathematical modeling, a comparative analysis electromagnetic torque and power charac-teristics three versions traction synchronous motors was carried out: jet engine, hybrid synchro-nous engine with additional permanent magnets on rotor, installed rotor surface. The out under conditions same dimensions engines, nominal values stator winding current speed rotation rotor. It established that given conditions, motor surface develops greatest torque, but it also has largest pulsations. Design measures to reduce pulsations at time led noticeable decrease in engines. obtained results can be used when choos-ing an appropriate type motor, taking into account compromise requirements for characteristics vehicle operating conditions.
